Loving Our Neighbors

Connecting Our Neighborhoods

MLK-365 builds on the momentum of the National Day of Service to strengthen vital bonds between diverse neighbors throughout Central PA. We recognize the importance of these relationships and understand they need careful and constant tending. This includes championing positive interpersonal relationships between neighbors as well as supporting partnerships between organizations and institutions that contribute to flourishing neighborhoods. “Neighboring” is a helpful way of describing our efforts to improve these vital social connections.

Loving our neighbor is a call that churches understand well. Jesus calls his followers to "neighboring" as a way to bring God's love into our lives and the lives of those around us. Have you ever wondered what resources the churches in your neighborhood are offering the community? Are you considering a new outreach ministry and wondering if you could partner with a church that's already doing something similar?

“Loving Our Neighbors” maps seek to serve churches and faith communities by helping us get to know our local neighbor churches, connecting us and informing us so that we can together love our neighbors. Click to view the map to see what the map looks like for Harrisburg, PA.
